21 LearnLine AG has developed from a young, successful company into one of the leading providers of educational products and services not only in the German-speaking countries, but also on the international scene. After its founding in 1996, 21 LearnLine became an Aktiengesellschaft  (which is equivalent to a Public Limited Company in the UK or a corporation in the US, respectively) in 2000. Our recipe for success has been an intelligent mix of both traditional and digital media in the development of learning and teaching arrangements.

Our range of products and services is mainly, but not exclusively, targeted at companies and organisations which intend to support their organisational and personnel development with innovative solutions for both teaching and learning.

Within the framework of our blended learning concept, we offer computer and web based trainings (CBTs, WBTs) as well as simulations for a wide range of subject matters such as project management, leadership, management, IT and foreign languages.

21 LearnLine’s learning technologies

21 LearnLine AG is one of the co-founders of  the open source initiative e-LECT. e-LECT provides for the realisation of inexpensive yet complex education portals. Modularisation and object orientation of e-LECT’s software architecture guarantees the simple adaptation and extension of the platform according to the customers’ individual and specific needs.

21 LearnLine has been developing its own authoring tool e-DIT for comfortably creating professional, highly interactive learning contents. e-DIT’s user-friendly interface is similarly structured to familiar text processing applications. XML-based technologies are the basis for the strict separation of data management and graphical representation of learning contents. e‑DIT’s appearance is fully customisable and integrates our customers’ corporate designs.
